FREE WRITTEN MATERIALS TO SUPPORT GROUP TRAINING:
DOCUMENTATION is extremely important, to verify that employees have been trained and they understood the training through testing. The support materials provide written manuals that can guide safety programs and to provide documentation that you have a safety plan/program.
Many OSHA standards require written plans, such as Hazard Communications, Illness/Injury Prevention Plan, PPE plan, Bloodborne Pathogens and others. In the event of a serious injury or death, this event may be investigated not only by OSHA, but by local prosecutors.
If you have not provided training, enforced safety rules and in general, have an effective safety program, this could seriously impact company liability and individual prosecution. Written materials should be used to supplement training and comply with all safety and health regulations. |
